no idea

I was hiding in a not so normal spot, hiding from the creatures of the night. No one really knew what they were or what they looked like because nobody and I mean nobody survived seeing one to be able to describe it. All we knew about the creatures is that they would come out at night, find the closest person and rip their throat out then dismember them in the most horrific way imaginable. I was the first one to see what a person looked like after an attack. They were always in a secluded room no one else in ear or eye sight , the walls would be covered in all their different organs and blood, arms and legs in different corners of the room but the head , the head was always placed in  cupboard or somewhere out of sight unless you went looking.
I came across this site not on purpose but on my daily walk. I was walking through a nice clean neighbourhood and I heard a baby crying, it was coming from a house that was not in a very good way. The door was open and I thought I would go check it out to see if it was okay. I walked into the lounge room and found it covered in a dismembered body but the thing that actually grossed me out was that when I walked over to the crib, the child with in it was a deep scarlet colour from the bloodshed. I figured it would be best if I called the police, so I pulled my mobile out of the back pocket of my jeans and dialled. It wasn’t long until they arrived I was allowed to help them with the child until they found some family for her.
I had to go down to the police station to make a formal statement about what happened. It took fifteen minutes to get to the station and then another half an hour for them to take my statement. They couldn’t find anyone to take care of her until they could find her family so I volunteered to look after her.  I didn’t have my car with me so I had to get the police to drop me off home. I cleaned her up as well as I could then I had to go get her some new clothes and other baby stuff, so I drove to the shopping centre to get the things I needed.
We arrived at the centre and I knew I would get weird looks because she was still slightly red and her clothes were still a deep scarlet colour. I just tried to ignore the people staring. I walked around for a while trying to find a baby shop but I couldn’t, so I went to find someone that could help me. I found a young mother, who looked to be in her twenties, and thought I would ask her. “Excuse me miss do you know where I could find a baby clothing shop” I asked nervously. “oh yes are you new around here “ she answered confidently .
“No but I’m looking after this adorable little girl and I need to find her some clothes and items that I may need”
“Oh may I see her  I  can show you where you can get all the stuff you need”
“Thank you” ,I said showing her the baby girl
“Oh what’s her name  she asked before she could see her properly, oh and why is she all red”
“um I’m not really sure of her name you see I found her and her family was dead so I called the police and I’m helping them by looking after her “
“ok well if you follow me I can show you what you are going to need”
I followed the young women and after a while we had most of the stuff that I would need to look after her. The young women whose name was Madeline gave me her number so that if I needed any help I could call. I drove home and place her down on the couch whilst I started putting together the furniture.
I finally had some clothes so I gave her a bath after I had finished setting everything up. When I was finished she wasn’t red anymore and was seemingly happy.  It was dark when I finished so I fed her and put her to sleep. Once I had done that I went into the kitchen to make myself some dinner. I was tired so I only made a sandwich and then I went to lie on the coach to eat my sandwich and read a book. Before long I had eaten my sandwich and had fallen asleep with the book open in my hands resting on my chest.
It was almost midnight when I woke up to her crying, I put my book down and went over to the cot I would move into my room later. I picked her up and tried to rock her back to sleep, when that didn’t work I thought she might be hungry, that didn’t work either. So it was almost midnight and I had a crying baby that wouldn’t go back to sleep and I couldn’t even figure out how to get it back to sleep.  I finally got her back to sleep my alarm went off and woke her up again. I decided to call Madeline for help she answered the phone and said she would be over in fifteen minutes because she had to dress her little boy Michael. Twenty minutes later she arrived and invited her in for a drink. I explained what happened and she said that it could just be that she was cold or just wanted a cuddle. I was intrigued because I thought they only cried when they were hungry, thirsty, tired or needed to be changed.
After an hour or so we had decided to meet up again on Saturday after I went to the police station to see what progress had been made since I was looking after her the force let me have time off, I also wanted to see if they figured out her name yet because this was getting difficult without her having a name.
The week rolled past quickly and it was Saturday. I had to get up early so that I could be ready to go to the station and meet up with Madeline. The trip to the station takes ten minutes so I arrived just after ten. I was taken into the sergeants office and she started to explain that they found out her name, it was ashlee and she was two. They hadn’t been able to get in contact with any family yet so I was to keep looking after her but they should be able to  contact them within a couple of days.
